A bit about me…
I’m a gardener and garden designer with a focus on gardens that benefit wildlife and work for you too. I want to help you get the most from your garden, from a consultation to get you started on your own path, to a full garden design.
I worked as a gardener and landscaper before training in design so I understand the whole process, as well as the frustrations of feeling stuck or overwhelmed by a space that should bring relaxation and enjoyment - whatever level of gardening you prefer.
After gardening for a number of years and diversity of amazing clients, I took the step to train in design at The Garden Design School under renowned garden designer Robin Templar Williams. Graduating with minor exhaustion, a distinction and (slightly alarmingly) my first real project in full swing, I have since enjoyed working on a number of garden designs, planting designs and consultations as well as continuing some garden maintenance to keep my fingernails dirty!
I have a background in conservation and like to bring wildlife into gardens; this can be subtle or a fully fledged wildlife haven! I can also advise on how to encourage more wildlife into your garden if this is an area you would like to explore. I also understand that gardening for wildlife can feel a bit overwhelming, and not everyone wants to eat dinner on a sunny evening knee deep in nettles, so I’m enthusiastic about helping you to find the balance between wildlife and your garden needs.
When I’m not working, you can often find me exploring plants in the great outdoors, wrangling our ‘secondhand’ dog and rock climbing with my fella - sometimes all at the same time!
